I did not do too much international news reading last week because of the inauguration, so only two countries this time.
- Micronesia is a low-lying Pacific island state with hopes that the new US president will change his stance on climate change. Why? Rising sea levels and more violent storms are effecting their future. VOA News
- Sri Lanka signed $125 credit with the World Bank. The money will go towards projects to modernize their agriculture, which will benefit up to 50,000 households through grants, technology demonstrations, and business training.
