There has been some fierce fighting in the port city of Mokha recently. The Yemeni government sees it as a point of smuggled arms from Iran for Houthi rebels.

The Houthis say that they do not need to smuggle weapons. “We don’t need to smuggle weapons. We defeat them and get theirs. We control several weapon stockpiles, too.”

Both sides have claimed victory in Mokha, though the government claims it has control over Dhubab Port and will try to take Hodeida next.
