From IRIN News:

Escaping the fighting between Houthi rebels and the Saudi-led coalition resistance in Taiz, families flee to a camp and live among the trees with no humanitarian aid, medical treatment, school, or shelter. People have to beg for food and water. They are hungry, dying from malnutrition and illness. Some local villagers donated sheets of plastic to be used as coverings between the trees.

“We need food. We all need food. We don’t have money or even a mattress.”

It is estimated by UNHCR that 28,000 people have been displaced in Taiz Governorate.
