From Yahoo News:
Amnesty International has condemned the US and UK for arming Saudi Arabia in its war against Houthi rebels in Yemen. Combined, both countries have sent $5 billion worth of arms since March 2015. This amount is more than 10 times how much they have sent in humanitarian aid to Yemen.
The London-based watchdog described the alleged arms transfers as a “shameful contradiction” of aid efforts by the United States and Britain.
A deputy director with Amnesty International says that Yemeni civilians are the ones paying the price for this hypocrisy.
Meanwhile, Amnesty International activists erected a six-feet-high gravestone in Parliament Square, London, in memory of thousands of Yemeni civilians killed by airstrikes.
