From Press TV:
Saudi Arabia’s blockade of Yemeni ports continues to take a heavy toll on ordinary people. Restrictions on the entry of medicines are now putting the lives of thousands of Yemeni cancer patients at risk in Hudaydah province. Press TV’s Mohammed al-Attab has visited a healthcare center in the western Yemeni province and filed this report.
Medicines at the center are dependent on donations. The blockade has not yet stopped the medicines from coming into the countries, but it has drastically raised the prices so patients can’t afford them. Treatment for a leukemia patient costs about $300, which is not affordable to many poor people.
