From Reuters:

The Houthi said in a statement by their official news agency that they fired a ballistic missile toward Saudi Arabia’s capital. But the missile was intercepted 120 miles west of Riyadh and the Saudi-led coalition later said that they had downed a missile in the province of Ar Rayn, in a desert area that is west of the capital.

From Press TV:

The missile launch comes just hours before the US president visits Saudi Arabia. According to a report, the long-range missile was a domestically modified rocket Borkan-2 (Volcano-2).

The report also carried a statement by the Yemeni army, saying the missile strike conveyed “a clear and important message that we are all ready to respond to the aggression.”
