It’s not as reported as often anymore since the numbers while still huge are also declining, but cholera is still around in Yemen. Here is the most recent UN health bulletin from ReliefWeb, which is reporting a decrease in the number of reported cases for 20 consecutive weeks.

In the following chart, you can see the decline in number of cases.

So far since April 2017, there have been 1,051,789 suspected cholera cases and 2,252 associated deaths. In this week’s report, there were  4,920 suspected cases and 4 associated deaths with 9% of cases being serious.

The following chart shows some of the district reports and how Al Jawf is the only place to see an increase in cases. The blue interrupt in the list, such as for the report from Abyan, means that there have been 0 reports of suspected cases for at least the past 3 consecutive weeks.
